SILPORT has been operating since October 14, 2005. Port Infrastructure at present Quays:
- 2 quays for oil products 16,5 m deep;
- 3 quays for liquid chemicals 13 m and 2 x 12 m deep;
- 3 quays for general cargo 2 x 12 m and 9 m deep;
- 3 ro-ro ramps 2 x 12 m and 9 m deep;
- 4 quays for containers and general cargo 12,5 and 15,5 m deep.
Depths are in the BK77 height system. Total length of the quays is 3 km at present. Railways:
Railway track: 4,6 km from Vaivara station (Estonian Railway Co.) to Sillamäe Station (SILPORT); Sillamäe Railway Station: 14 tracks from 1050 m to 1500 m each. Overall length of railway tracks is 33,9 km. 5 shunting-track locomotives of type TEM-TMH and 1 shunting locomotive of type TEM-2.
Storage areas: Roads: Port Infrastructure Expansion: 100 ha additional storage areas for bulk, ro-ro and container cargo; expansion of Sillamäe Railway Station up to 18 tracks, incl. 6 tracks 1500 m long each; construction of railway tracks onto quays.
SILPORT hinterland territory of 750 ha has the Free Zone status and is available for developing different terminals, distribution and manufacturing facilities. Passenger traffic |
