The basic function of Sillamäe Railway Station – rendering cargo handling services to oil products, oil shale, chemicals, wood and forest products, containers as well as other cargo groups relying on characteristics of the cargo and requests of the Client:

• Forwarding of cargo by rail to Vaivara station (Estonian Railway Company) under contractual tariffs;
to Sillamäe Railway Station on the basis of the contract with SILPORT.

• Fetching wagons to railway platforms for discharging/ loading cargo by locomotive of SILPORT.

• Using the rail infrastructure of Port of Sillamäe, railcar weighing, shunting works, filling out transportation documents, loading/unloading is carried out according to the general price list and relying on contractual terms set with the Client, considering specific requirements of the Client and type of the cargo.
