The Sillamäe Railway Station is a cargo port station, rendering handling services to different cargo groups.

- 25 km from the border of Russia and Estonia
- 3 km from Vaivara station (Estonian Railway Company)
Infrastructure of the station - overall length of the infrastructure of the Station is 29.1 km;
- 8 tracks, useful length of everyone is 1050 meters and capacity of 72 conditional cars;
combined double-sided railway pier for light and heavy oil productsw ith each side able to discharge 44 rail-tank cars at a time; combined double-sided railway pier for different chemical products with each side able to discharge 11 rail-tank cars at a time; - constructions, technical devices and platforms to perform cargo operations at the station;
- locomotive depot.
The Station will be expanded to include 18 tracks in the future, 6 of which will be 1500 m. long
Hauling equipment - 3 shunting locomotives type TEM 2.

The processing capability of the station at the first stage of development is 8 000 000 t /year.
