SILSTEVE is a multifunctional terminal in the port of Sillamäe, operates on 4 quays and manages over 90 ha of storage area in Sillamäe Free Zone. Availability of railroad and highway connections provides excellent opportunities for cargo transshipment through the Port of Sillamäe. SILSTEVE operates terminals for finished vehicles, general and bulk cargo, shale oil and heavy oil products and a passenger terminal. In 2009 container handling equipment was put into operation and now SILSTEVE is also handling containers.
SILSTEVE handles following cargo types:
finished vehicles and wheeled equipment (90 ha for up to 45 000 cars);
containers;
bulk cargo (metal scrap, peat, gravel etc.);
general cargo (big bags, pallets, boxes etc.);
timber, logs and wood products;
ro-ro cargo;
oversize and project cargo;
heavy oil products and shale oil.
SILSTEVE offers following services:
stevedoring services (loading and discharging of vessels, wagons, trucks);
storage services in Free Zone and bonded warehouse services;
customs brokerage in the Sillamäe Free Zone of control type 1;
forwarding services;
cargo palletizing, packing/unpacking, labeling, sorting etc.
